Is your head reeling with too many questions? the purpose? the balance? the perfect relationship? Well, mine was too. The story of this book is also the story of my life. It is a journal of how I was able to turn my disappointments into achievements. I struggle with many things in life and under normal circumstances would have spoken to a couple of close friends, cried a little, written sad poetry in my journal and sulked forever. However the pandemic did not leave space for such an opportunity, but it had to be expressed somehow. That’s when my doodle journey began in the middle of, the world’s, and my crisis. What started with stick figures soon became full-fledged paintings. After a year of doodling and many conversations with people who called to discuss their life challenges, I realized that my reflections were stirring a lot in people. They found support and energy to take positive steps in their lives post reading these. If I was getting better with this exploration, so could others. Meeting myself has never been tough and beautiful at the same time. I hope this book unlocks the river inside you that is waiting to meet the sea. Are you ready to get to flow?

In her second collection of poems, Carol Prejean Zippert continues to explore the intersecting worlds she inhabits as a woman, a wife and mother, an educator, an African American, a Southerner, a community activist, and a writer. Zippert has a rich, musical voice in her poetry, and she is never afraid of her emotions. She lets her readers share her joys as well as her sorrows, her curiosity as well as her certainty. "I wish I could tell you my fears," she writes, "but the trouble is all in my mind." It's to her credit that she so effortlessly invites us inside this creative mind, which draws insights from topics ranging from the mundane acts of daily life (brewing coffee, raking the yard) to the broad sweep of history (the legacy of Malcolm X, the promised-but-not-delivered forty acres and a mule), to the many faces and expressions of love and faith. When she writes, "Is she that gift to me, coming into / my home, reminding that the greatest / treasures of our world are still found / in the simplest acts of love?," Zippert is speaking of the bird that has built a nest in her garage, but she might also be describing these poems she has carefully constructed and delivered to her readers.

Sex in your seventies, a google search, begins this humorous story about senior single relationships. Kayla comes up with the idea that without a partner she is at a disadvantage. She goes online over a one year period in search of a compatible companion in spite of the many self-doubts and second thoughts that arise from a persistent, outspoken inner voice that criticizes her unmercifully. Follow her journey as she meets five potential companions telling about each encounter as it takes place (yes, the author did the research herself). Along the way, she bumps into many surprises and learns a few things about herself as well as online dating. Find out how Kayla turns her mundane existence into a more fulfilling life as she looks forward to the future. The sand in the hourglass may be running out but paradoxically, living for her is gearing up rather than winding down.

Musical Characters: 1 male, 3 female Interior Set Book and Lyrics by Alan Ayckbourn. Music by Paul Todd. Mrs. Mary Yately is no run of the mill housewife-- she has been chosen by the Evening Echo as Mum of the Year. And, Mrs. Yately is no ordinary character in this brilliantly inventive new musical by Britain's comic master-- she is three separate personalities, played by three actresses. One actor plays all the men in Mary's life, all of whom are, shall we say, not on this world to make her life easier. "We know that Alan Ayckbourn writes more ingenious comedies than anyone else. Now, he is starting to write more ingenious musicals as well. Me, Myself and I offers more civilized pleasure than any other British musical I've seen this year."-- London Guardian. "Splendid, galloping music and rapid fire lyrics."-- London Standard.
