On December 7, 2015, the Department of Justice (DOJ), Civil Rights Division, Special Litigation Section, and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois jointly initiated an investigation of the City of Chicago's Police Department (CPD) and the Independent Police Review Authority (IPRA). The author completed a 31 year career working as a patrolman, detective and sergeant with the Chicago Police Department and now he would like to provide you, the reader, with graphic insight into many of his personal experiences from the streets that he worked. This book details his career and contains an eye witness account of happenings that have occurred during an interesting time in Chicago's history. Some of these happenings include stories working as a patrolman in Cabrini Green, during it's most violent period, his detective division investigations, including serial killer, John Wayne Gacy and his assignments as a sergeant, including working as a gang tactical team supervisor.
