God has given talents to human beings so that they can use them in the service of God, of others, and of personal service. Everyone must discover their talent in order to use it to meet these needs. These talents are received either at birth or by asking them of God in order to accomplish his work. God will reward all those who have used their talents well because there is a danger of burying this talent or envying others and wanting to do like others. These talents will only be truly useful to God and his service for those who have said goodbye to sin, to the self-life, and to the love of the world. To take advantage of all its potentials, we need a radical consecration and total sanctification. Read this book, you could discover your talent, maximize it, and put it at the service of God and his work.

Although work requires the assistance of the whole being, Z.T. Fomum takes care to show that there is spiritual work, intellectual work and manual work. Manual work is that which requires physical energy in any accomplishment. Therefore, it is obvious to note that all the heroes of the Bible were great manual workers, begining with God Himself. Thus, every manual work should be done with a sense of honour, respect and perfection. In this book, the author exhorts the Third World to work, to cultivate the abundant land that God has given them. Each worker must ensure that God is glorified in his work by his nature, and that this work is pleasing to God in its quality and quantity of productivity. This book is a study of work through the Bible. Read it and be blessed.

Originally published in 1979, this study looks at the experience of childbearing from three viewpoints: first and foremost from that of the childbearing women; but in addition it considers the views and experiences of midwives and consultant obstetricians. It examines the proportion of induced labours and questions who is induced, when, where and why and how. Comparisons are then made between induced and non-induced labours of mothers’ experiences of labour and delivery and then of the babies conditions and the early relationships between the mothers and babies. Women’s views of their experiences, their attitudes to the information they were given, and their choice for treatment at further pregnancies are then examined. In the final chapter induction policies and practices are reviewed in the light of women’s reactions to their experiences. The implications of the findings are discussed in relation to other innovatory and interventionist procedures and in the context of the women’s movement.
