But all eyes are on the main event-the First Tempest Battle Tournament-and who should decide to participate but the Hero himself, Lightspeed Masayuki! What will come of his chance encounter with the demon lord Rimuru?

RIMURU THE DIPLOMAT At the suggestion of Demon Lord Carrion, Tempest and Eurazania have sent delegations to each other in the hopes of finding fruitful exchange. Benimaru leads the mission from Tempest, and from Eurazania is a party led by Albis the Golden Serpent. It seems as though trade might begin to flourish, until the members of Eurazania’s delegation bristle at Rimuru. Can our gelatinous hero manage to get on their good side and be the glue to form a friendly bond between two nations…?

Now they’re caught in a trial where they aren’t even allowed to defend themselves in the face of the Dwarven King’s judgment! How will they get out unscathed with the odds stacked against them? The group’s adventure also leads them to Shizu, a mysterious and demure woman who forms a special connection with Rimuru. But this seemingly sweet girl is hiding immense and dangerous power within her, and helping her may mean big changes for Rimuru...

AN INSATIABLE GREED The Tempest Founder’s Festival was a roaring success, and after working out a few kinks, the Advanced Dungeon is proving to be a major Tempest tourist attraction. Now Rimuru’s next objective is to join the infamous Council of the West—however, a certain influential figure working from the shadows of the Council has no intention of allowing someone as powerful as Rimuru to take a seat at the table, and she will stop at nothing to quietly snuff him out before he makes any moves!
