"Aiden Goes to Speech" is a story about a little boy who, due to his speech difficulties, struggles with feelings of confusion, frustration, and even isolation, until he is introduced to a fun class called Speech. Fully illustrated with vibrant watercolor pictures, racially diverse characters, and simple to understand wording, it is appropriate for any young child - certainly those who are experiencing speech difficulties, but because it also touches on how other children react to those who experience speech problems, it helps open up discussions on understanding, empathy and acceptance.
