Former conventions have devoted much time to the propagation and cultivation of fruit. These were then the important questions. We have learned how to grow fruit, and now have it in abundance. The great questions for consideration at present are how best to dispose of it, and our pres ent convention will devote much of its time, not neglecting other mat ters, to this branch. V ery much of our prosperity and the rapid growth Of this great indus try, which has added millions to the wealth of our State, is due to the fostering care of past Legislatures, which have recognized the necessity for its protection, and have put the means in our hands for its advance ment.
