This book outlines the theory of Neo-Humanism as propounded by the great 20th century think P.R. Sarkar. Neo-humanism is described as humanism expanded to include the entire creation: all varieties of human cultural expressions, and the animal and plant world, even until the inanimate world. This 'new-humanism', rather than being an aetheistic concept, recognizes the value of a human beings internal world, and thus bases the inspiration of neo-humanism upon a universal spirituality which is an essential part of the human psyche, although at times unconscious. This inner connection provides the mental epansion, empathy and perception so that will allow human society to live 'neo-humanism' not only intheory mut as a real expereicen intergrated into the individual and collective self. What is Neo-Humanism? When the underlying spirit of humanism is extended to everything, animate and inanimate, in this universe - I have designated this as Neo-Humanism. This Neo-Humanism will elevate humanism to universalism, the cult of love for all created beings of this universe. Explaining humanity and humanism in a new light will give new inspiration and provide a new interpretation for the very concept of human existence. Neo-Humanism will help people understand that human beings, as the most thoughtful and intelligent beings in this created universe, will have to accept the great responsibility of taking care of the entire universe -will have to accept that the responsibility of the entire universe rests with them. Neo-Humanism will make people understand that they are not merely ordinary beings. This philosophy will liberate them from all inferiority feelings and defects and make them aware of their own importance; it will inspire them to build a new world.

A progressive society is verily the composite of those beings who are engaged in the noble task of creating a conducive environment for human progress. This is what Part 1 is all about: what constitutes human progress, how one is to proceed in this direction, and the spirit of society. The conversion from sentimentality to spirituality constitutes the content of Part 2. The theme of Part 3 deals with social values and human cardinal principles, balance in all the strata of human existence, the principles and application of Progressive Utilization Theory (PROUT), re-organization of nations into self-sufficient or sustainable socio-economic units and their co-ordinated co-operation and merger into self-reliant zones, so as to prevent socio-economic exploitation and attain a high degree of socio-economic parity. Then each socio-economic unit would have the ideological base of Neo-Humanism, with the motto of 'self-realization and service to humanity'.

Along with Inayatullah, Bussey and Milojevic, contributing authors include Vedaprajinananda Avadhuta, Tobin Hart, Marcus Anthony, Riana Eisler, Marlene de Beer, Helena Pederson, Vachel Miller, Peter Hayward, Joseph Voros and Mahajyoti Glassman. The authors argue that the current paradigms of uni and multiculturalism have reached their limits (and the tensions between them) a new approach, as in neohumanism or transcultural and transcendental sustainability, is required for humanity to move forward, and while doing so include those it has pushed aside.

In developing an enlightened socio-economic-political environment, this book provides a new socio-economic-political system based on (i) Collective Capitalism (CCP) of cooperatively managed institutions and enterprises, and (ii) a Civilian Democracy (CDM) sans political parties, whereby the most qualified representatives of all the functional sectors of the community get elected to the local legislature. It also specifies a new economic-political structure in the form of autonomous functionally-sustainable communities (FSCs), within regional economic zones (REZs) and self-reliant regional unions (SRUs, such as the EU). This system of FSCs, REZs and SRUs will come under the aegis of (and collectively represented by) a World government, over-seeing the development of a comprehensive charter of human rights and social justice for all the people of the world. The neo-humanistic integrated system of CCP and CDM, to be implemented within FSCs, will provide grass-roots socio-economic-political empowerment, contrary to the system of centralized economic and political governance.This book serves as a valuable teaching, learning, knowledge and research resource for (i) a holistic approach to a sustainable living environment promoting collective welfare, and (ii) a multi-stage road-map towards a world government system for unification of all the communities of the world into one global cooperative. The combined system of socio-economic democracy (involving knowledge and conscientious governance executives elected by and directly representing the various functional sectors of FSCs) and world government will help transform the current undignified north-south socioeconomic order into a democratic and equitable globalization order, for collective social security towards achieving sustainable local and global peace.

Might it be possible that the world is being migrated into an era where the imperial periphery will be increasingly governed through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics designed to replace human beings? Celebrated as efficient, strong, unfailing, tireless, precise and beyond corruption, AI and robots are set to replace African leaders who are imperially deemed to be and consistently condemned as corrupt, failed, weak and inefficient. But, if these AI and robots are neo-imperial tools and machinations, the million-dollar question is whether empire is not returning to recolonise the [supposedly inefficient] Africans via the new technologies and machinism? Where Africans once celebrated their liberation war movements, empire has emplaced what it calls liberation technologies designed to supposedly liberate African youths from their own states and governments led by liberation movements. Where Africans once celebrated their liberation war movements, empire has placed its own NGOs/CSOs spewing liberal ideologies designed to ostensibly liberate African youths from their own supposedly failed and corrupt states and government leaders. With African youths/citizens allying not with their liberation movements but with the liberation technologies and liberal NGOs/CSOs, it is not surprising why African citizens oppose their states-led Fast-Track Land Redistribution Programmes while ironically they happily celebrate Fast-Tracked COVID-19 Vaccines. Positing the notion of #HumansMustFall movements, this book underscores ways in which empire is in a process of eternal return to 21st century Africa.
