I actually wrote my book between 1986 and 1988 in Aiken, South Carolina, while my late husband was battling leukemia. Ive always wanted to write, so one day I just sat down and started jotting down notes. To my surprise, the words began to flow. I used bits and pieces of my real-life experiences, but for the most part, the book is fiction. The people are actually real people with fictitious names. The places are somewhat real. I have written short stories for the most part until this book became my first real writing experience. I did not complete the book until August of 1988 after the passing of my husband, but it just lay on my desk unpublished until I heard about Xlibris.

Where Love Knows No Boundaries is based on the life of 18 year old Hope Maseko who's life changed after her father was murdered right before her eyes on her 12th birthday, and ever since then her father abused her and eventually re-married a man who had a 15 year old daughter named Sindi who contributed to making Hope's life a living hell. One night, Hope, her boyfriend and 2 bestfriends attend a school mate's pool party and Hope meets a guy name Daniel, but doesn't pay that much attention to him until an incident happens between Hope and her boyfriend, leading to him leaving her at the party. She hangs around with Daniel and later goes home. Hope rises to fame when she gets offered a modeling contract that was sure to put her on the map, but her joy is cut short when she finds out about her boyfriend's infidelity and ends up dating the guy she met at the party and he buys her a luxury SUV on her birthday. As the book goes on Hope eventually starts her own Make up business and it becomes a huge success, but things turn sour when Daniel start revealing his true colours to Hope, Hope also meets a man who later rapes her, leading to Hope murdering him and later finds out that that same man she killed was her Boyfriend's father.

From the artist: "Most of these drawings were created during the summer and fall of 2014, with me curled into a couch corner in a semi-fetal position, armed with mechanical pencils, kneaded erasers, and a few tech pens. I was kind of burnt out on art in general, but had to keep making at least something. The results were a return to a kind of minimalist line drawing style, with an emphasis on humor, composition, and lunacy. I'm happy to say that when viewing the drawings contained in this collection, far removed from the time of their creation, that I really like them. And I hope that they will provide a small mother lode of laughter for a wide range of viewers."
