This 4th ICON LATERALS proceeding consisted of 27 reviewed papers under the following subthemes of (1) foreign language teaching and learning (2) innovation in language teaching and learning, (3) macrolinguistics: Pragmatics, Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Discourse Analysis, Forensic Linguistics, and Linguistic Landscapes, (4) Translation, and (5) Literature. Prior to this publication the selected papers have been reviewed by three different reviewers to provide more comprehensive and in-depth perspectives for the intended respected readers in the respected areas. The keynote speakers invited to the conference, Prof. Heather Zwicker from University of Queensland, Prof. Hsueh-Hua Chuang, Ph.D. from Institute of Education, Center for Teacher Education National Sun Yat-sen University, Prof. Ogasawara Hiroki from Kobe University, Ismatul Khasanah, S.Pd., M.Pd., M.Ed., Ph.D. from Universitas Brawijaya, Syariful Muttaqin, M.A., Ph.D. from Universitas Brawijaya, Han-Chin Liu, Ph.D. Associate Professor from Sun Yat-sen University, Yu-Hui Chang, Ph.D. Assistant Professor from National Sun Yat-sen University, and Asri Saraswati, Ph.D. from Universitas Indonesia, have provided some insightful ideas for enriching the multidisciplinary perspectives of the selected articles in this proceeding. We are also indebted to the support and the encouragement from Universitas Brawijaya and Faculty of Cultural Studies for proving all means to the success of the event. Finally, we are thankful for the excellent work from the organizing committee who have been working very hard, effectively and efficiently before, during, and after the conference. Pedagogika International Conference on Educational Innovation (PICEI) is an international conference held by the Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. This conference took place at Damhil Hotel, Gorontalo, Indonesia, on 15 September 2022. The conference covers six disciplines in the Faculty of Education which are Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Non-formal Education, Guidance and Counselling, Educational Management, and Psychology. The theme of the conference is “Building Resilience in Education in the Time of New Normal”. This conference activity is designed for stakeholders, practitioners, and students in the educational environment. In its implementation, scientific conferences collaborate with 10 (ten) universities and ISMAPI as the co-host with 25 articles published in this proceedings.

Dialogues, encounters and interactions through which particular ways of knowing, understanding and thinking about the world are forged lie at the centre of anthropology. Such ‘intellectual exchange’ is also central to anthropologists’ own professional practice: from their interactions with research participants and modes of pedagogy to their engagements with each other and scholars from adjacent disciplines. This collection of essays explores how such processes might best be studied cross-culturally. Foregrounding the diverse interactions, ethical reasoning, and intellectual lives of people from across the continent of Asia, the volume develops an anthropology of intellectual exchange itself.

Vogue's Book of Houses, Gardens, People (1968) was a landmark publication among decorating books, and it chronicles an important chapter in the history of Vogue. Vogue's Horst P. Horst, a leading fashion photographer of his time, developed an intense interest in seeing the world's great homes and meeting their owners; beginning in the early 1960s, he journeyed in an elite world that would soon be lost. With accompanying lyrical essays about homes and their occupants by the famed writer Valentine Lawford (Horst's partner in work and life), the book is a virtual who's who of society, politics, and the arts in the mid-20th century. Around That Time showcases much of the material featured in the original book, plus never-before-seen photographs from those homes as well as images from additional homes Horst shot well into the 1980s. This book introduces this work to a new generation of design, decorating, and visual art professionals, academics, and enthusiasts.
