Harry and the dinosaurs love playing in the waves at Water World. But when a big wave knocks them over, they don't think it's quite such fun after all. Harry isn't sure he wants to go in the water again, but with a little help from Nan he and his dinosaurs overcome their nerves and go on to make the biggest splash of the day!

It's the first day of school! Harry is nervous because he isn't sure what to expect. Triceratops is even more nervous, especially when Harry must leave the dinosaurs in the coatroom. But soon Harry sees another boy who is the most nervous of all. He clings to his toy bulldozer and won't talk to anyone in the class. Harry wonders what he can do. Perhaps the new boy will talk to dinosaurs. . . .

Harry finds some dusty plastic dinosaurs in Nan's attic. He cleans them, finds out their names and takes them everywhere - until, one day, the dinosaurs get lost! The lost property man gets a surprise when Harry proves the dinosaurs are his by calling them over to him.

Harry and his bucketful of dinosaurs are back! Harry and his bucketful of dinosaurs see some ducklings hatching and wish they could have one of their own. But it's the wrong time for wishing so they wait until Christmas when Harry makes a special list for Santa. Christmas Day finally arrives and there is a surprise for everyone - it isn't a duckling but a gorgeous baby pterodactyl!

Harry's dinosaurs are acting strangely. They are hiding and refusing to come out! Could it be because today's the day of Harry's dental appointment? Eventually he persuades them to jump in their bucket, but will they behave once they get there?
