Saint Michael Jesus (the) Archangel is an angel from heaven as are we all, He teaches. Like He taught King Solomon in the Heavenly School, the acquisition of wisdom is one of the greatest pursuits of humankind. All of us have missions for God on Earth, but some of us fall away from our missions, forgetting them or rejecting them, and one of Michael ́s missions is to remind us of Jesus Christ ́s Biblical teaching that "he who believes and is baptized shall be saved; and he who believes not shall be condemned." (Mark 16:16) Michael teaches through his 80+ books and TV show, "Archangel Michael and the United Domains Of Heaven." Saint Michael has come to fulfill the prophecies in the Holy Bible: John 16: 12-14: “But when the Spirit of truth comes He will lead you to the complete truth since He will not be speaking as from Himself but will say only what He has learned; and He will tell you of the things to come. He will glorify Me, since all He tells you will be taken from what is Mine,” and Acts 2:17: "In the days to come-it is the Lord Who speaks-I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind. Their sons and daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams." In this sacred book of wisdom inspired by Abba Yahweh God the Father, His Spouse Sophia who is Wisdom personified and the mother of the angels, angelas, devils, and demons, and by Jesus Christ God the Son, and His Girlfriend Mary Magdalene, and by Michael’s Girlfriend, the Blessed Virgin Mary Michelle, Michael shares with the human gods and goddesses from his own fund of wisdom also.

This book attempts to make a contribution to the New Testament doctrine of the Spirit, with special reference to the paraclete problem. Dr Johnston begins with the use of the word 'spirit' in the Gospel of John and treats it as primarily 'impersonal'. It denotes divine power or energy. God acts by his spirit, both to create and to redeem. The Fourth Evangelist shows Jesus as the incarnate Word, a man uniquely inspired, whose absence after death is compensated for by an outburst of spiritual powers in his Church. The paraclete is representative of God or of Christ, and the Johannine teaching is that no angelmediator, no holy 'spirit' like the Archangel Michael, can take Christ's place. But truly inspired leaders - acting as teachers, exegetes, martyrs - and the inspired Church itself as a communion of love do embody the spirit-paraclete and do continue to represent Jesus. Special attention is paid to recent research on this subject, mainly in the area of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Dr Johnston argues that in insisting that the true spirit-paraclete must always exalt and interpret Jesus of Nazareth as the final revelation of God in man, John was in fact combating heretical views.

Most of the Old Testament is devoted to the story of the Nation chosen by God through whom the Messiah would come into the world to bless all nations. The New Testament is devoted to the story of the man that nation produced and how his life, death, and resurrection give hope to sinful humanity through his kingdom. We see the genealogy of the man Jesus tracing his lineage from God through Abraham (Matthew 1:1). John the baptizer spoke of the kingdom being at hand and the one who would come after him who would baptize with the Holy Spirit. That one was Jesus Christ. He told his apostles that he would die, but he would be raised from the dead after three days; and after his resurrection, he would send the Spirit of truth, which the Father had promised them. And they would be baptized with the Holy Spirit. He told them that they would not be alone and helpless in the world. He said that he would send them a helper, a teacher, and a comforter to sustain and assist them in carrying out the church's mission. He called this helper the Holy Spirit. It would be the Holy Spirit's purpose to guide them into all truth and to remind them of all that Jesus had said and done. He instructed them to wait in Jerusalem until they had received the promise of the Father (Acts1:3-5, 1:8). All the Old Testament prophecies and promises came to fruition as recorded in the second chapter of Acts. The apostles were waiting just as Jesus had told them to wait. It was on the day of Pentecost in the city of Jerusalem (approximately AD 33) that the apostles were baptized with the Holy Spirit. They were immersed in the Holy Spirit. They were overwhelmed with the Holy Spirit""and they spoke the words of salvation through Jesus Christ to all nations (Acts 2:1-4).

The cult and legends of St Michael the archangel were widespread in medieval England, and this book - the first full-length study of the subject - offers a comprehensive examination of their genesis and diffusion. Part I identifies and analyses the concerns, conflicts, and roles with which St Michael is associated, from scriptural and apocryphal literature through to the homiletic literature of the medieval period. Part II begins with a discussion of the vernacular recensions of the popular account of the archangel's earthly interventions, and goes on to survey the legendary accounts in Old English, Anglo-Norman, and Middle English of the archangel and his roles as guardian, intercessor, psychopomp, and warrior-angel follows. The Appendices contain the first English translation of the archangel's hagiographic foundation-myth; an annotated bibliographical list and motif index of textual materials relating to the archangel; and an essay on the iconographic representations of the archangel in medieval England.
