Children should know what rights they have, but they should also learn how to appreciate and to use them. To achieve this, schools must allow for a wide range of learning experiences in children's rights education. Children as Equals explores the subject of children's rights. The twelve chapters are written by authors whose disciplines include history, law, philosophy, psychology, and sociology. This book provides different perspectives on the concept of children’s rights, including policy, educational, and children’s perspectives.
