An explicit explanation of a powerful prayer method, this book is also a timely reminder of the history and tactics of Masonic revolutions which spread throughout the last three centuries. It focuses on the only remedy to deliver Church and country from the strangleholds of the "wicked" groups whose ideologies infiltrated the Church and government in Palau's Spain, which resulted in the reign of rampant hedonism and immorality. The Church in Spain was silenced by government, while cooperating Church officials became complicit in the societal chaos. Rioting, looting, church burning and ransacking, forced church closures, denial of the Sacraments to the Faithful-- even the murder of priests and nuns-- were commonplace. It is our hope that contemporary souls will understand the parallel of Palau's day to our own, and once again "engage in this glorious fight, so desperately needed," to accomplish this "impossible task" of saving Church and country from nothing less than destruction. In Palau's words: Even if no more than one soul succeeds in accomplishing this task-even if that one soul be you--we would consider our efforts very well paid indeed. May the grace of God be with you. Amen

Have you ever asked yourself what changed when you were "born again?" You look in the mirror and see the same reflection - your body hasn't changed. You find yourself acting the same and yielding to those same old temptations - that didn't seem to change either. So you wonder, Has anything really changed? The correct answer to that question is foundational for receiving from God. If you lack this basic understanding, you'll forever ask yourself doubt-filled questions like: "How could God love somebody like me?" and "How can I possibly expect to receive anything from the Lord? I don't deserve it, I'm not good enough!" Spirit, Soul, and Body will help you eliminate those and other doubt-filled questions that destroy your faith. If you have trouble receiving from God, this is a must-read!

"Why do I still struggle if I'm faithfully following God?" We all face challenges. On any given day, the problems of real life can take our breaths away. Our marriages, finances, relationships, and health are regular struggles, and that's just the beginning. Doesn't the Bible say the war has already been won? So why do we still battle? In a down-to-earth, let’s-get-real approach, popular Bible teacher Havilah Cunnington cuts through the confusion and shows us how to Discern whether we’re dealing with battles within ourselves, resistance from God, or genuine fights with the Devil. Throw off misconceptions about spiritual warfare, and understand what Jesus really said about our spiritual authority and the certainty we have in him. Ask the right questions and build a realistic battle plan to win one day at a time. With humor and honesty, Cunnington lays out practical tools to thrive in the face of hardship, enabling us to walk forward in the confidence that, because of Jesus, we really are stronger than the struggle.

In 1946, the Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO) undertook Operation Dixie, an initiative to recruit industrial workers in the American South. Elizabeth and Ken Fones-Wolf plumb rarely used archival sources and rich oral histories to explore the CIO's fraught encounter with the evangelical Protestantism and religious culture of southern whites. The authors' nuanced look at working class religion reveals how laborers across the surprisingly wide evangelical spectrum interpreted their lives through their faith. Factors like conscience, community need, and lived experience led individual preachers to become union activists and mill villagers to defy the foreman and minister alike to listen to organizers. As the authors show, however, all sides enlisted belief in the battle. In the end, the inability of northern organizers to overcome the suspicion with which many evangelicals viewed modernity played a key role in Operation Dixie's failure, with repercussions for labor and liberalism that are still being felt today. Identifying the role of the sacred in the struggle for southern economic justice, and placing class as a central aspect in southern religion, Struggle for the Soul of the Postwar South provides new understandings of how whites in the region wrestled with the options available to them during a crucial period of change and possibility.
