I have always been incredibly fascinated with the capacity language possesses. I started learning English when I was 4 years of age. This was a very interesting operation for every child I imagine. For me it was life changing. I felt very empowered and drawn into this new world. Later in my life, I decided language studies are my vocation and from that point on I have never stopped examining language and linking it to the matrix of our consciousness and desires. It looks like this will be a life endeavor, but there is nothing else I would rather do! Since the beginning of my career, I have always identified myself of a descriptivist, simply because it fitted my professional interest better. I was eager to observe and record the language as I hear it and see it and allow it to take the shape that it's supposed to. The discipline of psycholinguistics seemed to be able to satisfy my linguistic appetite in terms of answering all of the questions I had throughout the years.
