Graphical methods have had their widest application in the analysis of the stresses in stationary structures, and therefore the majority of the text-books on this subject have been written for civil engineers. For the use of students of mechanical and marine engineering, and as of possible service to engineers in those professions, this book gives a brief review of the principles of graphics and their application both to framed structures and to mechanism.
