Quest for the Nail Prints is the first of a three-book fiction series where an accidental time travel scenario causes unlikely modern-day characters (a trauma doctor, a pastor and an agnostic professor) to personally experience Christ during Passion Week. The character's compelling interaction with Christ during His last week on earth creates a surreal adventure in which the three continually question their experience. Ultimately, they come to reap the meaning of their encounter with the living Christ. Readers of the Quest Series are drawn into the lives of the characters and quickly begin to see a parallel to their own struggles and doubts. Ultimately, the reader is led to a first-hand experience with Christ. Quest for the Nail Prints ends with another unexpected shift in time as the three characters are transported back to the present day. This time, however, they are followed by the unsuspecting Apostle Peter. This sets the stage for the second book of the series, Peter's Quest. The third book of the series, The Final Quest, brings the story full circle and changes the lives of the characters, and likely the reader, forever! Includes study guide.

Is the Old Testament a closed book? Does it have any relevance for us today? What did Jesus say? Does the manger scene on your lawn at Christmas time present the true picture of what really occurred? Have astronomers ever located the star of Bethlehem? Who were the wise men from the East? Were there only three? Why did Jesus say, Before Abraham was, I Am? Why didn't He say, Before Abraham was, I was? If He never attended the schools of His day, from what sources did He obtain enough wisdom to hold multitudes spellbound? These questions, and many more, will be answered for you in this book.

The Quest of the Historical Jesus is a review of all prior work on the question of the "historical Jesus" starting with the late 18th century. The author points out how Jesus' image has changed with the times and with the personal proclivities of the various authors. He concludes with his own synopsis and interpretation of what had been learned over the course of the previous century. The author takes the position that the life and thinking of Jesus must be interpreted in the light of Jesus' own convictions, which he characterizes as those of "late Jewish eschatology", and that Jesus defies any attempt at understanding him by making parallels to the ways of thinking or feeling of modern men. In Schweitzer's view, Jesus genuinely believed that his ministry would bring about the end of history and did not see any prolonged period elapsing between his time on earth and God's final judgment.
