Development Studies is a course of four modules to prepare students for the HIGCSE or similar examinations. The Cambridge Open Learning Project (COLP) in South Africa aims to provide access to quality education by producing course materials to support the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) mathematics syllabus for IGCSE. The IGCSE examinations are available through the Southern Africa office of UCLES, based in Cape Town.
