This symposium was organized in order to discuss recent developments and future perspectives in intermediate-energy heavy-ion physics. The subjects included sub-barrier fusion, superheavy elements, fission; halo, skin nuclei; multi-fragmentation, collective flow, compression; properties of hot nuclei; high spin and exotic nuclear shapes; nuclear astrophysics; applications; facilities.

This proceedings volume covers the main fields of mathematics: analysis, algebra and number theory, geometry and topology, combinatorics and graphs, applied mathematics, numerical analysis and computer mathematics, probability and statistics, teaching and popularization of mathematics.

This volume contains current work at the frontiers of research in infinite dimensional stochastic analysis. It presents a carefully chosen collection of articles by experts to highlight the latest developments in white noise theory, infinite dimensional transforms, quantum probability, stochastic partial differential equations, and applications to mathematical finance. The papers selected were presented at the International Conference on Stochastic Analysis: Classical and Quantum held at Meijo University, Nagoya, Japan from 1 to 5 November 2004.
