Many people never bother to find out what God's plan for their lives is. Rather they blindly and hastily pursue their personal ambition. But the truth is that God will not support you in a mission He has not sent you. As a result, many are building on a faulty foundation while others are busy erecting faulty foundations for their generations yet unborn. All these have consequences. Foreskin Dowry takes an incisive look at the effects of these actions on our foundation and teaches what we must do and the kind of prayers we must pray in order to overcome the ugly consequences.

You will then see how this mostly overlooked spiritual truth empowers deeper exploration of well-known themes like dying to the flesh. Right now, if this brokenness talk sounds like a downer, dont worry. This addition to the well-received Brazos Theological Commentary on the Bible offers theological exegesis of 1 Samuel. This commentary, like each in the series, is designed to serve the church--providing a rich resource for preachers, teachers, students, and study groups--and demonstrate the continuing intellectual and practical viability of theological interpretation of the Bible. "The Brazos Commentary offers just the right level of light to make illuminating the word the joy it was meant to be."--Calvin Miller, author of A Hunger for the Holy and Loving God Up Close

The law of God makes clear how important and how central marriage is. God the Son came into the world neither through church nor state but through a family. This tells us that marriage, although nonexistent in heaven, is, all the same, central to this world. We are to live here under God as physical creatures whose lives are given their great training-ground in terms of the Kingdom of God by marriage. Our Lord stresses the fact that marriage is our normal calling. This book consists of essays on the importance of a proper Christian perspective on marriage.

All about Sex in the Bible is based exclusively on Biblical quotations, which are related to sexual activity, rules, metaphorical meanings of sexual language, and scientific knowledge on this subject. Traditionally, the Bible viewed as a religious book. Surprisingly, it is overloaded with countless verses on the topic of sexuality, including a description of depravity of God of Old Testament, Patriarchs and Kings, all kind of sexual pleasures and seduction, and cruelty triggered by sexual desire. The book consists special chapters on associated subjects, such as circumcision, Marys virginity, Jesus birthday, analysis of the meaning of whore of Babylon described in Biblical Revelation, and some scientific facts on related issues. In addition, the major chapters are supported by Appendix, which is includes Glossary, Index of Persons, Geographical Glossary, and Bibliography.

Another consideration, which just logically unfolds is that apparently, God had an ulterior motive, and he was eventually glad for the fall of man. Basically, the man had the right to tell him: My dear Daddy-God! If I am not mistaken, the good is what you like and what is morally good, and the bad, on the contrary, is all that is bad and all that you do not like. Is it like that or not? That is right, my son, would have answered the Creator. In this case, could continue Adam, let me know what is wrong, so that I could avoid it. Otherwise, why is this tree here, if I cannot touch it? However, instead of God, the priests concealing themselves under his name give answers. They say, God put our newborn humanity to a test. God wanted to see if Adam would obey, when he requires minor hardships from him. However, this statement is easily disproved. According to theological imaginations, God is all-knowing and he knows the future. Therefore, he should have foreseen what would happen, because nothing is done without his will. This means that God himself wanted the people whom he created to sin. There is no doubt in that.
