After Miraculous Destiny, Family Secrets, and True Destiny, author Annu Hirae comes back into the publishing limelight with her fourth book, Delayed Justice. Appealing to the general adult audience, worldwide travelers, Japanese descendants, French descendants in New Orleans, crime solvers, and fact learners, this new novel revolves around the old adage What goes around comes around. This book was born out of the authors encounter with an airplane crash of a wealthy family. That intrigued me to put it into the human drama. I also want to highlight life in general under the belief of what goes around comes around, she shares. In this book, a mysterious family tragedy tears loved ones apart for nearly two decades. The criminals who meticulously plan the grand larceny and the airplane crash almost get away with murder until incriminating evidence appears. The family reunites and the lost fortune is about to surface. It wont be too long before Delayed Justice is served on a cold platter.

A reader's review from The Key To Justice BEST LEGAL SERIES EVER By William Hugh Williams on October 17, 2016 Marc Kadella has the most personal case of his life. In fact, it is too personal and he probably should not be handling it. His best friend and favorite private investigator has gotten herself in a serious jam. Maddy Rivers, has a new beau. His name is Robert Judd and he is an investment analyst in the bond department of a small, local securities management firm. Its name is CAR Securities Management and the five men running the firm have a secret. They are able to consistently obtain better than normal returns for their customers and a co-worker of Rob Judd turns up dead after questioning his boss about it. Robb's curiosity is piqued because the co-worker has shared his concerns with him. After the man's death Rob investigates and finds some very disturbing occurrences in the bond department. The firm is holding illegal securities for their customers, the same type that caused the financial industry meltdown of '07 and '08. He goes to the same boss with his evidence and shortly thereafter, Maddy Rivers is framed for Rob's murder. The suspects are numerous including an embittered ex-cop, a Mexican drug cartel and a professional hitman hired by CAR Securities. And on top of that Rob Judd has a secret past himself which has the local U.S. Attorney and FBI investigating CAR Securities and keeping evidence from Marc that could exonerate Maddy. Once again, Carstens has come up with a story with many twists and turns and a murder mystery / legal drama that will keep you guessing, engrossed and anxious to find out how it all ends.

This selection of essays, speeches and personal reflections, draws on the analysis of one of the leading lawyers of a generation. Lord Dyson as Master of the Rolls and Head of the Civil Justice System oversaw a period of reform of both law and legal process. This collection discusses some key themes of, and challenges faced during, his tenure as one of the most senior lawyers in England and Wales. Through these insightful, engaging and compelling pieces, a picture emerges of a robust system of law whose core values can be plotted back to the Magna Carta, but which is flexible enough to respond to current changes without fracturing. A truly compelling exploration of continuity and change in the law by one of its key jurists.
