This volume includes eight chapters that describe recent advances in sociology research. Chapter One reviews recent research conducted in educational and sports contexts via social network analysis regarding leadership, verbal aggressiveness, bullying and Machiavellianism in educational and sports contexts and presents the relationship among interpersonal attractiveness, social power and verbal aggressiveness across different educational and sports contexts. Chapter Two examines how the Airbnb platform mobilizes hosts' material and immaterial resources as key elements of the platform infrastructure, thus building on hosts' previous differences in terms of economic possibilities, digital competences, and relational networks. Chapter Three integrates findings to produce an in-depth understanding of self-development processes implicated in changing perspectives among former gang members as they develop shared wisdom of their lived experiences and undergo a greater life awareness that motivates them toward intervening in the proliferation of gangs. Chapter Four analyzes the interplay of technological and social innovations. Chapter Five examines the role of parent-child connectedness and parental expectations as well as school context, school connectedness, and social support on youth's delinquency, fighting, and violence. Chapter Six presents the results of an empirical study of 300 companies implementing innovations in the Bulgarian business reality. Chapter Seven analyzes drug consumption depending on whether or not the adolescent belongs to a violent or non-violent gang. Finally, Chapter Eight examines the impact of the colored brain model on enhancing workplace team synergy.
