Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2000: The book presents the basic structure and grammar of the Coptic language. Included are a few exercises (answers not provided) which consist of translating sentences from Coptic into English and English into Coptic. It is easy to understand and written simply so that all can understand the grammatical aspects of the language. An excellent book for beginners studying Coptic.
